ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is welcoming applications for a full-time Supervisor Production to join our team working at our Kwinana plant.
The successful applicant will be responsible for safely executing the production plan to ensure that Tianqi Lithium Australia produces the highest quality and most cost-effective lithium in the world.
In addition to possessing our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity and innovation, this position will suit an individual with prior experience in Production Supervision, ideally within Brownfields Environments and Operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety of all people in the production area
- Safety incidents and hazards are reported and promptly investigated with related actions completed timely
- Take on a leadership role in any crisis
- Ensure a high level of operating discipline and housekeeping in the production areas
- Select, lead and develop the production team
- Promptly resolve any people problems in your team
- Safely execute the production plan and achieve quality and production targets
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through the leading and imbedding of effective problem solving
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation
- Ensure all TLK procedures and standards are followed by the production team
- Ensure production and shifts logs are kept and maintained
- Assess risks and implement mitigations
WHAT YOU CAN BRING
- 8+ years’ operational experience in base metal/ore refining
- Significant experience in the managing operational teams. Proven people and safety leader.
- Committed and practical approach to safety and wellbeing of all staff
- Sound knowledge of HSE regulatory requirements
- Ability to engage and communicate clearly with team and liaise with all levels of the organization
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Committed to the development and training of your team
- Ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks
- Excellent knowledge of refinery operating practices
- Possesses excellent stakeholder engagement attributes and has an inclusive and open leadership style

LOCATION
TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.
Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
