ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is welcoming applications for a fulltime Supervisor, Permit-to-Work (PTW) to join our team at the Kwinana plant, working Monday to Friday.
The Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the permit-to-work team. The role is also responsible for the PTW procedures and administration of the permit-to-work systems to support achieving planned work compliance, auditing compliance, and ensuring hardware availability.
In addition to demonstrating our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity and innovation, the successful applicant will be an experienced supervisor who is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Select, train, develop and coach the PTW team.
- Implement and maintain systems to track the performance of the team and systems.
- Lead investigations relating to PTW incidents to identify trends.
- General administration of IntelliPermit and IsoBuilder.
- Manage new and ongoing system issues including raising tickets through AdaptIT Service Manager.
- Attend and, where required, chair AdaptIT meetings.
- Implement a culture of continuous improvement with regular systems audits.
- Ensure all PTW activities are undertaken in line with company procedures.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING
- 5+ years’ experience in base metal/ore refining/chemical plant operations leading a Permit-to-Work team.
- Minimum Cert III in Process Plant Operations or equivalent.
- Excellent understanding of permit-to-work systems and experience working with an electronic permit-to-work system.
- Strong collaboration, analytical, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

LOCATION
TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.
Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
