ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is welcoming applications for a part-time Specialist Contractor Management role based at our Kwinana plant.

In this role you will work collaboratively with leaders, contract supervisors, and the HSE and Procurement teams as well as external stakeholders, to minimise risk and maximise the value of contractor engagement.

You will be responsible for maintaining a business-wide contractor management framework and for driving an effective, efficient approach to the planning and execution of contracted works across the full contract lifecycle.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the Contractor Management Framework, including processes, roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage the contractor management system and associated applications and ensure their integration with other systems.
  • Support internal work scope owners and external contractor companies in all aspects of contractor worker mobilisation.
  • Support the Procurement and HSE teams in completing contractor pre-qualifications, vendor onboarding, in-field assessments, audits and contractor compliance and performance management.
  • Support the implementation and delivery of site access and security processes and systems.
  • Provide technical support and advice on the contractor management process and system to staff and contractors.
  • Lead the contractor management team to ensure it achieves its expected outcomes, including supporting, guiding and supervising staff, managing performance.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING

  • Strong relationship skills: Ability to build, maintain and positively influence relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels as well as contractor representatives.
  • Experience in a contractor management, planning, mobilisation, coordination or training role (or a transferable skillset), preferably within a processing or mining setting.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in implementing and managing software systems.
  • Basic project, stakeholder and change management experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

LOCATION

TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.

Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
