ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is welcoming applications for a full time Procurement Officer to join our team working at our office located in Kwinana.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a strategic, efficient and flexible procurement service which will deliver optimum value for money, cost savings and high quality service

The ideal candidate will bring a broad perspective, anticipate risks and opportunities, and support the development of effective, fit‑for‑purpose procurement strategies in a dynamic operational environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work collaboratively with the Operations team on:
- Processing Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders, including obtaining required quotations from suppliers;
- Expediting open Purchase Orders to meet operational needs;
- Identify opportunities for improvement across the end-to-end procurement process.
- Assist with management of supply contracts.
- Assist with vendor onboarding activities
- Compare and evaluate offers from Suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with business policies, standards and procedures.
- Assist with resolution of invoice issues.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING
- 3+ years’ experience in a purchasing role.
- Experience in operational procurement.
- Ability to act autonomously to deliver results.
- Ability to maintain strong partnerships with internal end users.
- SAP ERP system knowledge and experience is essential.
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or mining environment is preferred, but not essential.

LOCATION
TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.
Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
