TLEA is welcoming applications for a full time Officer Logistics to join our team working at our Kwinana plant.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing and co-ordinating all activities at our numerous offsite warehouse storage facilities. The Officer Logistics facilitates Transport and Logistics activities to support the ongoing operation and maintenance of the Lithium Process Plant, providing Logistical, Procedural and Co-ordinational support to the Supervisor of Logistics, and interfaces with the wider Sales, Procurement, Operations, Mechanical, Engineering, Finance, and Warehouse and Logistics Teams, whist contributing to all aspects of the Tianqi Lithium Health and Safety Management Plan. This supports the organisation to achieve its objective to produce the highest quality and most cost-effective lithium in the world.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide facility management, coordination and support for all offsite warehouses, including Butcher Street, Mounsey Drive, Lodge Drive and any other future facilities.
  • Liaise with TLK Finance, Contracts, external Landlords, and Contractors to ensure facilities are maintained to a suitable standard.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the safe and effective disposal of both TAS and Gyplime to Customers or Landfill facilities.
  • Plan, coordinate and communicate the monthly Shed Surveys for Spodumene, TAS, and Gyplime. Communicate results to process, finance and key Logistics personnel.
  • Provide Logistical / Freight support and guidance to all internal and external customers, respond to requests in a timely solution focused manner.
  • Interfaces with key stakeholders to ensure seamless Loading and Delivery of all materials / logistics activities.
  • Contributes to procedures in consultation with the wider Warehouse and Logistics Teams. 
  • Generates Transport and Shipping documentation, including but not limited to Bills of Laden, MO41 Dangerous Goods Declarations, Certificate of Origin, Vehicle Gross Mass Declarations, and Packing Lists.
  • Works with the Logistics Administrator to validate Supplier Invoices against logistical activities and seeks out cost saving opportunities.
  • Actively participates in the Annual Performance Review process in line with HR expectations.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING

  • 2-3 years of experience in Logistics Coordination, Facilities / Site Management, International Freight Forwarding, arranging Export / Imports, or other any other associated activities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Quality analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP / Fiori Apps, and an aptitude to learn and adapt to new software and systems
  • Familiarity with Transport / Import / Export regulations and compliance
  • Understanding of the Transport / Shipping of Dangerous Goods

LOCATION

TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.

Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
