ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is welcoming applications for a part-time Officer Contractor Management to join the team at our Kwinana plant.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with leaders, contract supervisors, internal teams and external contractor representatives to minimise risk and maximise the value of contractor engagements for TLK.
The roleis responsible for coordinating and overseeing the administrative and compliance requirements associated with contracted works, ensuring activities ae delivered safely, efficiently and in line with company standards.
In addition to demonstrating our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity and innovation, this position will suit a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong relationships across a diverse contractor stakeholder base.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates the contractor mobilisation process including competency verification and training bookings
- Ensures responses to contractor and internal stakeholder enquiries are accurate, courteous, confidential and timely
- Supports contract supervisors in managing the performance of contractor workers
- Liaises with the procurement and IT teams to facilitate approval and onboarding of new contractor companies and workers
- Provides training and technical support on the contractor management process and system to staff and contractor representatives
- Administers the contractor management system to ensure the validity and currency of contractor records and system workflows
- Provides reports and support to the HSE team and other business stakeholders
WHAT YOU BRING
- Strong relationship skills: Ability to build, maintain and positively influence relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders
- Previous administration and/or contractor management experience preferably within a processing plant or mining industry setting (client- or supplier-facing), including using contractor management systems
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in system management and document organisation
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- This role would also suit someone with a training administration background

LOCATION
TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.
Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
