ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is inviting applications for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our Finance team, working Monday to Friday at our Kwinana plant with some travel to our Perth CBD office.

 

In this pivotal role, you will guide and influence the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function across the TLEA Group and its subsidiaries, including Tianqi Lithium Kwinana (TLK). You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, insightful, and timely budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making and drives operational excellence.

 

We’re seeking an experienced finance professional who leads with empathy, clarity, and confidence—someone who thrives in collaborative environments and inspires others through inclusive leadership, strong analytical thinking, and clear communication.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the delivery of:
  • Business planning cycle
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Management and Board reporting
  • Manage the day-to-day FP&A activities of TLEA including the operations at Kwinana, and corporate office, and the group forecast and budget consolidation that includes Talison Lithium.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance forecast models and analytical tools.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to enable decision making.
  • Assess and develop business cases for capital expenditure programs.
  • Monitor and control approved capital expenditure programs.
  • Manage internal financial controls related to FP&A activities.
  • Attract and retain team members including managing KPIs.
  • Culture and engagement – employee NPS score 25+ for your team.
  • Develop and counsel employees.

ABOUT YOU

  • CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 10–15 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis in capital-intensive industries (e.g. manufacturing, mining, chemical processing).
  • Extensive financial modelling skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team.

LOCATION

TLEA proudly acknowledges the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.

Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from Fremantle, and just 7 km from Rockingham.
