TLEA is welcoming applications for a full-time Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis to join the team at our Kwinana plant.

The successful applicant will provide high-quality analytical and reporting support to the broader FP&A function, enabling effective planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. This role ensures the business has timely data i to support informed decision-making, with a strong focus on cost control, process optimisation, and continuous improvement of financial systems and reporting frameworks.

In addition to demonstrating our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity and innovation, the ideal candidate will bring experience in variance analysis, cost control, management accounting, project accounting and Power BI.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of cost centre-level spending reports
  • Track open POs and follow up where required.
  • Maintain and update sales analysis reports
  • Support variance tracking against forecasted sales volumes and revenue
  • Prepare and maintain forecast data for Sales, non-production costs, production costs and overheads
  • Assist in budget/ forecasts by consolidating inputs from business units
  • Support detailed financial reporting for sales, non-production costs, production costs and overhead
  • Coordinate and review monthly variance reports and analysis to internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and upload EOM (non-inventory) journals
  • Tracking open POs and GRIR (Goods Received / Invoice Received) reconciliation
  • Provide data and support for audit queries
  • Maintain audit documentation and checklists for FP&A activities

WHAT YOU CAN BRING

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is required. Professional development toward CPA or CA accreditation is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in a finance, management accounting, or FP&A support role. Experience in a complex business environment such as manufacturing will be highly regarded
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and basic financial modelling
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, with preference for SAP
  • Exposure to planning and reporting tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Power BI, or similar) is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to prepare financial reports, perform variance analysis, and interpret financial trends. Experience in assisting with forecasts and budgets will be well regarded

LOCATION

TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.

Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
