ABOUT THE POSITION
Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive better business performance? TLEA is seeking a dedicated, full-time Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to join our collaborative team, working across both our Perth CBD and Kwinana locations.
Reporting to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the broader FP&A function. Your main focus will be to enable effective planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, ensuring that timely and accurate financial insights are available to support sound business decision-making.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and analyse cost center spending reports to support budget control and cost management.

Maintain and enhance sales performance dashboards and analysis to track actuals vs forecast.

Perform variance analysis on sales volume, revenue, and cost drivers against forecast and budget.

Assist in short-term cash flow forecasting and scenario modelling.

Develop and maintain sales forecasting models and data inputs.

Assist in production cost analysis and Inventory costing

Assist in Systems improvements implementation

Lead the coordination and review of monthly performance reporting, including key variance analysis for stakeholders.

Prepare and post EOM journal entries related to FP&A activities (e.g., accruals, allocations).

Provide analytical support and respond to data requests during audits and financial reviews.

Monitor and report on open Purchase Orders and GRNI balances to support accrual accuracy and working capital forecasting.

Review and analyse parked invoices for completeness and timely processing in financial forecasts.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
-
A degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related discipline.

3+ years of experience in a finance, management account, or FP&A support role.

Advances MS excel skills with basic financial modelling.

Working knowledge or ERP systems, with preference for SAP.

Proven ability to prepare financial reports, perform variance analysis, and interpret financial trends.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

Professional development towards CPA or CA accreditation

Experience in a complex business environment (e.g., manufacturing, resources, or project-based)

Exposure to planning and reporting tools (e.g., Adaptive planning, Power BI or similar).

Experience in assisting with forecasts and budgets will be highly regarded.

LOCATION
TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.
Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
This position will be required to work across both our Perth CBD and Kwinana locations.
