ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is welcoming applications for a full-time Training Coordinator to join our team working at our Kwinana plant.

 

You will be responsible for planning, organising, and coordinating training programs to support employee development and ensure compliance with organisational training requirements. Working closely with subject matter experts, managers, and external providers, you will deliver effective training solutions that enhance workforce capability, safety, and performance.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement annual training plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Training Needs Analysis (TNA) reviews.
  • Design, implement, and review training programs, including refresher and awareness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts on instructional design and compliance alignment.
  • Schedule and coordinate training delivery, including onboarding and external provider engagements.
  • Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate records and compliance.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for statutory and safety-critical training requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for training systems and processes.
  • Liaise with TAFE and external providers for enrolments and progress tracking.
  • Support audit preparation and regulatory reporting.

ABOUT YOU

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
  • Experience developing and implementing training in an operational environment.
  • Previous experience in a training coordination or administrative role.
  • Sound knowledge of National Competency Standards and competency training requirements.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements in a regulated environment (industry-specific knowledge desirable).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident in delivering, preparing, and supporting presentations and training sessions.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP experience highly regarded.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.

LOCATION

TLEA proudly acknowledges the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.

 

Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
