ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is currently welcoming applications for a full‑time Coordinator, Process to join our Kwinana team, working a five‑five‑four days and nights roster.
In this role, you’ll coordinate process engineering support for our operations team, helping drive safe, efficient and reliable plant performance. We’re looking for someone who not only brings technical capability, but also lives our values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity and innovation.
This position will suit a results‑driven, solutions‑focused professional who can learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities and provide clear direction to the team. You’ll be someone who enjoys solving problems, thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can translate technical understanding into practical, workable outcomes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and optimise plant performance production rates, chemistry, product quality, safety and reliability.
- Key process team interface with operations team, attending shift handovers and working closely with the Production and Maintenance Coordinators to confirm operational priorities for dayshift and nightshift.
- Provide technical input to the weekly and long-term production and maintenance planning functions.
- Review and update operating procedures and safe work instructions.
- Support control room operators and Production Supervisors to optimise plant performance, process control and chemistry.
- Prioritise support for Area Process Engineers.
- Identify capital improvement opportunities and initiate these through the process improvement team.
- Support the site operational excellence processes.
- Ensure environmental compliance with license conditions.
- Perform investigations for downtime and uptime loss events.
- Conduct risk assessments and facilitate plant change requests through the management of change system.
- Provide process training to operations teams.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING
- 5+ years working in a similar process coordinator position.
- 3+ years’ experience in base metal/ore refining/chemical plant operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of complex chemical processing plants and flowsheets
- A committed and practical approach to the safety and well-being of all staff
- A champion for continuous improvement of all operational processes
- Ability to build effective stakeholder relations across the organisation

LOCATION
TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.
Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
