TLEA is welcoming applications for a full time Business Partner Human Resources to join our team working at our Kwinana plant.

The successful applicant will partner with the business in their allocated client groups working on both operational and strategic HR activities. Providing best practice HR advice throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Working within a small HR team and with support from the Manager Human Resources, the Business Partner works closely with business unit leaders, within their client groups, to ensure strong relationships are built and maintained while setting the foundation for the company to produce the highest quality and most cost-effective lithium in the world.

In addition to possessing our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity and innovation, this position will suit an experienced HR generalist with experience within the Resources sector.  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with the business leaders to provide practical HR advice and coaching across the entire employee life cycle.
  • Provides advice and guidance on employee relations matters including performance management, grievance and disciplinary matters, including leading investigations.
  • Partners with the business on workforce planning, resourcing and remuneration recommendations
  • Oversees the talent review process within the client group
  • Reviews HR metrics, and Identifies people related trends in order to implement appropriate strategies to minimise risk within the portfolio
  • Develops and executes plans to meet KPIs related to diversity and inclusion within the portfolio
  • Support the delivery of the Trainee and Apprenticeship Programs
  • Supports operational leaders with people and HR related activities such as the Annual Performance Review process and salary reviews

WHAT YOU CAN BRING

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in a HR generalist role, ideally within the resources sector
  • Strong exposure and experience in both strategic and operational HR activities
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and build strong relationships
  • Demonstrated experience with industrial instruments
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills paired with a high attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
  • Experience with SuccessFactors (preferred)

LOCATION

TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.

Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
