ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is welcoming applications for a full-time Max term Advisor HSE to join our team working at our Kwinana plant.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HSE systems and processes for Tianqi Lithium Kwinana (TLK) to build a culture that is focused on minimising harm to people and the environment while producing the highest quality and most cost-effective lithium in the world.
In addition to possessing our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity and innovation, this position will suit an individual with prior experience as an HSE Advisor, ideally having worked in Brownfields environments and operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Health, Safety and Environment team, you will:
- Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System, including standards, procedures, forms, tools and change-management processes
- Promote consistent HSE risk-management practices across the organisation by facilitating risk assessments, engaging with field-based leaders and employees, and monitoring the effectiveness of risk controls
- Provide practical, specialist advice on health, safety and environmental requirements, including management-system application and legislative compliance
- Support incident management and investigations, including regulator notifications, incident reporting, lessons learned, action tracking and database administration
- Assess operational HSE performance through audits, inspections and compliance reviews, identifying non-compliances and opportunities for improvement and working with leaders to close out agreed actions
- Coordinate and maintain legal obligations registers and support compliance with relevant legislation
- Manage HSE systems and data, including administration of the HSE database, analysis of performance trends, and preparation of internal and external reports.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING
Desirable requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in a safety or environment related discipline
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- Senior First Aid

LOCATION
TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.
Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
